Service Plumber
Cloverdale Plumbing is in search of a qualified Service Plumber to join our team. Our company has been in business since 1953 serving the treasure valley. We are in search of an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks as a service tech. A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of complete plumbing systems including but not limited to; water and sewer replacements, drain cleaning, fixture installations, water heaters and water softener repairs and installations, and a variety of other tasks to get our customers taken care of. We offer a competitive hourly wage with profitability bonus on calls that is paid quarterly. Overtime and on-call bonus’s allow an unlimited earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Show up to work on time and willing to take care of customers as long as needed
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Maintain a clean van and keep van stocked in order to efficiently complete varies plumbing tasks
- Provide bids to customers in timely fashion
- Participate in our 24/7 On-Call rotation (bonus and overtime included and will be discussed during interview)
- Knowledge of drain cleaning and sewer repairs/replacements
- Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
- Use flat rate pricing book and be able to work up bids quickly when the task does not match flat rate pricing
Skills
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
- Legible handwriting and detail orientated
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, snakes etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to take care of customers
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Valid Journeyman license

We are in search of an individual that can handle a fast paced work environment. Dealing with customers and our plumbers with a smile on their face day in and day out.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year Secretary experience
- High School Diploma
- Customer service skills
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, etc..
- Good organizational skills and pleasant demeanor
Job Duties:
- Answer 4-line phone system, take messages, greet clients and others
- Scheduling service calls
- Photocopying, scanning, and other general office tasks including but not limited to mail handling and ordering supplies
- Ability to work as part of a team and be a self motivator
- Strong communication skills
- Work hours 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with an hour lunch), Monday to Friday
