Filtration Systems
Water filtration involves moving water through a system of filters to remove sediments like iron to remove odor, foul taste, and color. Water filtration systems include reverse osmosis, distillation, carbon black filters, and ultraviolet disinfection.
Water Softeners
Hard water is what makes the dishes look gritty after a wash and leaves a film your hair after you’ve finished a shower. Water softeners use ion exchange to remove calcium and magnesium to make your water soft. Soft water is easier on your pipes and gives you a cleaner feel after a shower or bath. It also makes your clothing last longer and washing more efficient as less detergent is needed.
Reverse Osmosis Systems
Reverse osmosis systems reduce ions from your water by applying pressure to the water and forcing it through a semipermeable membrane. Water molecules allowed through the membrane, but other materials are rejected. Reverse osmosis units use nearly three times as much water as they treat, but are effective in removing most chemical contaminants and disease-causing organisms.
Chemical feed pump systems
A chemical feed pump can help reduce the amount of harmful pollutants in your water supply. This treatment system involves pumping a water treatment chemicals, often chlorine, into the water supply. This treatment can remove harmful bacterial like E. coli, pesticides, oils, and other harmful contaminants.
